The Congregation of Sisters of Little Flower of Bethany, founded by Msgr. Raymond Francis Camillus Mascarenhas, with the grace of God and the blessing of the pioneers ushered in a community at Chempanoda under St Mary’s Forane Church Maruthonkara in Thamarassery Diocese on 1st May 2002.

The children of the locality of Maruthonkara found it hard to reach the far off schools for education in English medium in a Christian institution. Perceiving this need, Sr Anseline, the then Provincial Superior dreamt of a school with quality education for rural population. Sr Jyoti, the then Superior General vouchsafed the consent to establish the first house under the Syro Malabar rite. Mar. Paul Chittilappilly, the Bishop of Thamarssery, invited the sisters and whole heartedly gave his approval for the new venture. In collaboration with Fr Joseph Mannur and the parishioners, Sr Anseline went around looking for a convenient, serene and peaceful location for an educational institution. It did not take much time to become the dream a reality. The foundation stone of the school building was blessed by Mar. Paul Chittilappily and laid by Sr Lillis BS. The school commenced functioning from 3rdJune in a sublet building of COD under diocese of Thamarassery. The new school building was inaugurated by Rev. Sr Jyoti, then Superior General, and blessed by Mar. Paul Chittilappilly on 8th December 2002. The much awaited inauguration of the 2ndblock eventuated on 13th January 2006 by Sibi Mathew IPS, Addl. DGP Vigilance. CBSE affiliation was granted to the school on 1st April 2005.
