Jan 10: A seminar on Commerce was conducted at St. Theresa’s School on the 7th of January, 2023.
The seminar commenced with a prayer followed by words of welcome by Mrs Savita Albuquerque gave a brief introduction of the resource persons –CA Mamta Rao - Founder of Ms Mamata Rao and Associates. CA Hasta Narayan- Founder of Hasta and Co. CA Adarsh Shenoy - Author of books on auditing and assurance and indirect taxes for CA aspirants. CA Prashant Pai K- 39th rank holder in CA Final examination and honored with the best Paper Award for the subjects- Cost system and Cost Control.
The workshop was interactive and informative for the students of Std VIII and Std IX. The resource persons highlighted about working hard in order to achieve their goals. They were advised to believe in themselves, to scale greater heights and to be independent in their future rather than depending on parents. The student’s imbibed knowledge regarding choosing their career as a Chartered Accountant.
The programme was concluded by words of gratitude by Mrs Roopa Chowta. The students were grateful to Sr Lourdes the Principal for organizing such a wonderful programme.
