July 19: In honour of the Foundation of Bethany Congregation, a meaningful programme was held at Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School, Mulki on 15th July 2023 with full zeal and zest and enthusiasm.
The programme began by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song. Anveeth S.N welcomed the gathering. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries and by offering flowers to Fr. Founder R.F.C Mascarenhas.
A drama depicting the life of Fr. Founder R.F.C. Mascarenhas, the founding members and the birth of Bethany congregation in the year 1921 July 16, was performed by students.
The tiny tots of KG also performed dance, skit and action song honouring our founder and the founding members of the Bethany.
Addressing the gathering Headmistress Sr. Rita Sharal said Fr.Founder had great vision to educate the students specially the poor and neglected. He started many schools, colleges and orphanages to provide basic education for the needy students. Sister also asked the students to follow good deeds of Fr. Founder by helping and caring.
The programme was compered by Jesvita Dsouza and Eva Andrea Dsouza and the vote of thanks was proposed by Noman.
