Dec 23: The month of December brings a lot of warmth, hope and glad tidings. On December 22, Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School, Kilpady, Mulki celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ in true Christmas spirit.
The chief guest for the program was Ms. Lavita Dsouza. The programme started with a prayer followed by welcome dance. A short play depicting the birth of Jesus Christ was performed by the students along with other cultural programmes. Prizes were awarded to the students who won in various competitions held on the occasion of Christmas. The chief guest Ms. Lavita Dsouza in her message highlighted that every tiny opportunity makes a person successful and she also urged the students to make use of the opportunities available to them.
Mrs. Radhika welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Anet conveyed the words of gratitude. Zahra, Ridha and Hania anchored the programme.
Later, the teaching and non-teaching staff came together to celebrate Christmas. They shared the joy of Christmas through Carols and exchange of gifts to each other. Headmistress Sister Rita Sharal BS spoke about the importance of Christmas. Indeed, it was a memorable day for all of us.
