Jan 05: The 63rd Death Anniversary of Servant of God Raymond Francis Camillus Mascarenhas, the Founder of Bethany Congregation was observed at Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School, Kilpady, Mulki.
We prayed loving homage to our founder through Eucharistic celebration offered by Fr. Anil Fernandes SVD. A Special prayer service was organized to pay tribute to Founder. It was led by Mrs. Dayavathi and Mrs. Preethika.
Sr. Lydia BS, Asst. Headmistress of Bethany High School, recalled his great enthusiasm to spread the kingdom of God through his priestly life and missionary work in the Diocese of Mangalore as a holy, zealous and compassionate pastor as well as his contribution to the world of education specially for girls, poor and the lost of the society. We are blessed by his graciousness and are inspired by his saintly life.
He has lit the lamp, let us keep it burning.
