Feb 15: Sr Rose Celine, the Superior General and President of Bethany Educational Society paid a visit to Sacred Heart Convent School, Ludhiana accompanied by Sr Mariette BS, the Secretary of BES and General Councilor. The students of the KG, Primary and High School Block put up a lively program to welcome them. The efforts of staff and students were greatly appreciated and Sr Rose Celine motivated the students to be more sensitive and compassionate towards their less privileged brethren. Later in the afternoon, there was a Staff get- together and Sr Rose Celine encouraged the teachers to be passionate for their work and imbibe the qualities of head, heart and hands. Sr Mariette, in her address put forth the need for analyzing the self so that the same is reflected beautifully in the society. The Sisters were highly appreciative of the efforts that the institution puts in to contribute to the lives of its students and to the society in general.
