July 15: July 16 being Sunday, celebrated foundation day on 15th July 2017 in School Auditorium at St Theresa’s Convent School with elation. The entire function was exuberantly mesmerized with the presence of Sr Jyoti BS (Provincial Superior, Northern Province), Sr Helima BS (Province Coordinator for Education) Sr Ophilia Lobo BS (Principal, S.T.C.S.) Sr Ophilia Tauro BS (Superior), Sr Reena BS (Vice Principal, S.T.C.S.) and Sr Flavian BS (Co-ordinator). The function started with a right religious stroke of lighting the lamp by all the sisters followed by soothing notes of a prayer dance on the sout stirring prayer, “Isn’t it a Miracle---”.The students presented a well knit and equally interesting skit depicting the formation of Bethany congregation by Father Founder Mgr Raymond FC Mascarenhas. The skit was strongly supported with a composed song “Ken Ken mein hum ishwar ka anubhav karte hein”.
Sr Jyoti BS addressed the students emphasizing the dire need of falling in line not due to outward compulsion but inner conviction. She also prayed to Father to bless all so that they may become a blessing for the future generation. She acquainted the students about the way Father Founder worked, pioneered a way out for the problems of the society through education not only in the past and but also in the present. The function ended with the singing of a beautiful composed song “Happy Foundation Day…”
