Jan 02: One of the seven habits of effective people is to ‘sharpen the saw’. Knowing the importance of this adage Bethany School Sulantu organized two days seminar for high school teachers on teaching methodology conducted by Mrs Vishaka Sen and Ms Rita Mukherjee from Loretto School, Sealdah, Kolkata on 19 and 20 of December 2017.

It was a time to sharpen the saw of teaching methodology in order to bring out best from our children. The highlights of the seminar were Divergent and Convergent thinking, Six – word self portrait, Visual tuning, Free writing, Living by a river – mime, Mathematics games creation and senses graphic organizer. Each session was very interactive, practical and very much applicable to all types of learners. Though the teachers had to sacrifice their holiday time, everyone felt grateful for providing this rare opportunity to revive themselves.
