Feb 13: The Bethany Pre-Primary School L.K.G. day and Sacred Heart School prizes distribution, Basrikatte was a unique event of this year on 24 January 2018. It was an indelible mark in the hearts of everyone.
Rev. Fr Vincent D’Souza, the Parish Priest, Sacred heart Church, Basrikatte was the president of the day, emphasized that parents must be honoured for they are always pillars of support on which every child relies. Mr T H Krishna, Alumni and teacher of the Higher Primary School, Sangameshwar, was the chief guest, speaking on the occasion, reinforced the importance of education and perennial guidance rendered by the teachers in the all round development of the child. He distributed the prizes recognizing the achievement of the student. Mrs Mary M. D’Souza retired teacher of our school was the guest of honour, distributed the prizes and congratulated the students for their performance.
Sr Lidya, the Headmistress and Sr Dulcilita, the Correspondent of the school welcomed the dignitaries. Sr Lidya expressed thanked to all the benefactors and Bethany Educational society. The cultural programme staged by students, folk dance and moral skit, conversation on environment, rhymes and stories of L.K.G students held the audients spell bound. The performance of the little tots created a good impression in the area and everyone had a word of appreciation and gratitude.
